WITHDRAWAL FROM PURCHASE

In accordance with Italian Legislative Decree No. 21/2014 of 21 February 2014, for all purchases made on the Online Shop www.gamaprofessional.com, GAMA guarantees that you may withdraw from the sales contract within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of the products. To exercise the right of withdrawal you must duly fill out all required fields of the contact form below and select the option “Withdrawal from purchase” in the “Type of return” field. You will subsequently be contacted by Customer Service, who will provide you with the terms of withdrawal.

We wish to remind you that you will not have the right to reimbursement of the transport costs for returning the item to GAMA; these costs will be entirely at your expense. If you return a damaged, non-functioning, or incomplete item, you will be responsible for the decrease in its value.

Items must be returned completely intact, clean, free from scratches, damage, dents or abrasions, and must be returned along with all the elements contained in the original packaging, including the delivery note received when the package was collected.

The refund method will depend on the payment method you chose for the purchase:

  • CREDIT CARD: The refund will be made within 14 days from receipt of the goods at our warehouses, directly to the card you used to make the purchase. The time it takes to credit your account may vary from one bank to another.
  • PAYPAL: The refund will be made within 14 days from receipt of the goods at our warehouses. The amount corresponding to the returned items will be credited to the PayPal account used to make the purchase.
  • BANK TRANSFER: The refund will be made within 14 days from the receipt of the goods at our warehouses. The amount corresponding to the returned items will be credited to the bank account used for the purchase.

WARRANTY SERVICE

Please note that the validity of the warranty, as established by European Legislative Decree No. 1999/44/EC, is as follows:

  • Standard warranty (with a regular fiscal receipt for private consumers) is 24 months, as established by European Directive 1999/44/EC, starting from the date of issue.
  • Professional warranty (with a regular invoice for professionals with a VAT number) is 12 months, starting from the date of issue.
  • Warranty extensions during the period of validity for the products that offer them (the warranty extension date received via email when registering the product on our website shall prevail).
  • Not valid for warranty purposes: illegible or dateless proofs of purchase, technical support tickets, product replacement tickets, in-warranty or out-of-warranty repair invoices, or any document other than the original proof of purchase

PRIVATE CONSUMERS

Regardless of the type of purchase and the store/e-commerce site in question, it is always necessary to provide proof of purchase when requesting assistance, whether the product is under warranty or out of warranty. This is a mandatory field in the request form below, and without this requirement, it will be impossible to proceed with the assistance request.

Are you a private individual and have you purchased a Gama product in a large retail chain such as Unieuro, Euronics, Trony, Acqua e Sapone, or their e-commerce portals?

  • If the product is under warranty, go to the place where you purchased it or contact them online with the receipt and the damaged product; it will be replaced with an identical or similar product, but never of lower value than what you purchased (except for the iQ Perfetto hairdryer, for which repair is always provided). If you prefer to contact us directly to shorten the assistance time, you can do so by filling out all the fields in the form below.
  • If the warranty has expired, write to us using the form below for product repair.

Are you a private individual and have you purchased our product on an authorized Gama e-commerce portal such as Amazon, E-bay, or similar?

  • If the product is under warranty or out of warranty, write to us using the form below, and we will open a technical support ticket to resolve the issue. Make sure to fill in all the data correctly to avoid delays in managing the return.

Are you a private individual and have you purchased our product from a professional (hairdresser, wholesaler etc.)?

PROFESSIONALS WITH VAT NUMBER

ONLINE PURCHASES ON OUR WEBSITE

If the product received from an online purchase is different from the one ordered, or if it does not work, you have the right to have it replaced (with the exception of the iQ Perfetto hairdryer, for which repair is always provided). Fill out all required fields of the contact form below and select the option “Warranty Service” in the “Type of return” field. You will subsequently be contacted by our Customer Service, who will provide you with the procedure for the replacement.

WARRANTY VALIDITY CONDITIONS

Items returned under warranty must not have suffered accidental damage not covered by Legal warranty.

  • Standard warranty (with a regular fiscal receipt for private consumers) is 24 months, as established by European Directive 1999/44/EC, starting from the date of issue.
  • Professional warranty (with a regular invoice for professionals with a VAT number) is 12 months, starting from the date of issue.

For both cases, if the purchase was made online, the warranty will only be valid if you are in possession of the original, readable, intact proof of purchase. If the purchase was made in a traditional store, it is necessary to have the fiscal receipt/invoice (i.e., the proof of purchase).

For some product families, there is also the possibility of extending the warranty, an option that can be activated in the dedicated Warranty extension section.

Any warranty extensions extend this period for a maximum of an additional 36 months, starting from the expiration of the standard warranty, exclusively managed by GAMA upon filling out the form below. (example: 2+3 – in the first 2 years of assistance, you can contact the point of sale where you purchased the product; in the following 3 years, you must exclusively contact us, with the confirmation email of the warranty extension correctly registered here on our website in the dedicated Warranty extension menu.

The warranty, both standard and professional, exclusively covers defects or malfunctions that occur during the warranty period and under conditions of normal use, due to material and/or manufacturing defects. The warranty is automatically void in the event of tampering, alteration, replacement or repair of the product by unauthorized persons.

The following items and cases are not covered by the warranty:

  • the carbon brushes for the motor (in hair dryers), the power cord, and materials subject to normal wear;
  • faults caused by lack of compliance with the instructions for use and maintenance provisions;
  • products which may have been tampered with and/or repaired by unauthorized personnel;
  • damage caused by accidental breakage or transport;
  • defects occurring outside the extended warranty period
  • all components that undergo wear and tear over time and with use

ASSISTANCE OUT OF WARRANTY

Gama will provide assistance even if the warranty period has expired, whether you purchased the product on our Online Shop or other e-commerce sites, or in a regular store. We would like to remind you that out-of-warranty products must be sent to our company at your expense. Our technical office will assess the fault and provide a quote for its repair. If the quote is accepted, we will proceed with the repair; otherwise, you can retrieve the unrepaired product at your expense. Expenses will always be your responsibility.
